Creative technologies and ideas are becoming hope for revitalizing the local economy.
Incheon Creative Economy Innovation Center, which was launched last year, is focusing on developing smart logistics ventures and finding promising startups.
Last year, it selected companies that stand out in smart logistics and idea technology start-ups through a startup contest.
In particular, the Incheon Innovation Center launched a project to support its own business to "six-month challenge program" companies first.
Companies fostered through the Incheon Innovation Center are jumping into various domestic and foreign markets such as household goods and electronic systems based on their outstanding ideas and possibilities.
Let me introduce Incheon's promising creative companies selected by the Incheon Innovation Center.
▲ Doctor Pick (CEO Hyun Ki-bong)
Dr. Pick won the honor of the first Incheon Startup Contest, which was held last year with the idea of a mouthwash that cleans the entire tooth just by wearing it, in the field of idea technology start-up.
Dr. Pick, a new concept mouthwash that looks similar to a snore-proof mouthpiece, is characterized by the ability to clean teeth automatically without splashing water using sound pressure.
Hyun Ki-bong, CEO of the company, explained that he developed Doctor Pick so that the elderly, children, intensive patients, and disabled people can prevent dental diseases or complications on their own.
Dr. Pick can easily and conveniently manage oral hygiene without other people's help, and is easy to use and clean in the form of a mouthpiece.
In the future, the company plans to develop products for the disabled, the elderly, and children, including serious patients, and link them to various government welfare policies.
CEO Hyun expects that the activation of Doctor Pick will help revitalize the domestic market, create jobs, secure national competitiveness, and save social health insurance.
▲ Suin System (CEO Kim Eung Nam)
Suin System is a company that specializes in embedded (chip used for non-PC) electronic control systems that have key technologies that can control and measure bandwidth and phase angles, which are disadvantages of FM, in nano-timing.
The company was selected as a six-month challenge company by the Incheon Innovation Center last year.
Embedded system devices in the water supply system provide precise control and instrumentation using electronic engineering and frequency nanotiming (one billionth of a second).
In addition, users can easily control and set up instrumentation with WinCE operating system (OS) applications even if they are not electronics engineers.
WinCE OS-based applications can be used without electronic engineering knowledge of frequency modulation methods such as AM and FM.
▲ 4STEC (CEO Seungwon Lee)
Based on IoT (Internet of Things), 4STEC is developing RFID (Radio Frequency Reader) middleware and application software.
At the first Incheon Startup Contest, 4STEC won the Smart Logistics Award for its Smart Forklift Management System, which combines RFID and IoT technologies.
Smart forklift management system is capable of shutter management, forklift work, and safety management through RFID-based IoT and sensing.
Based on the fact that factories and logistics centers need to accurately understand the information and quantity of transportation products, CEO Seungwon Lee of 4STEC developed a smart forklift management system.
4STEC holds patents on RFID mobile trajectory pattern delivery technology, and is filing patents on RFID middleware servers and records management systems, facility management systems, and smart care systems for elderly people living alone.
In particular, 4STEC’s Smart RFID is used by the National Pension Service, the National Assembly Library, and Busan City because it has a function to check awareness and prevent unauthorized leaks.
