[Newspim = Baek Hyun-ji reporter] 14 countries from the Eurasian continent will gather to discuss the establishment of a spatial information infrastructure (social indirect zone).
According to the Korea Geographic Information Service on the 26th, the Korea Geographic Information Service and the Korea Foundation will participate in the 3rd Eurasian Spatial Information Infrastructure (SDI) Conference on the 28th.
The Eurasia SDI Conference is an annual cooperative conference on building spatial information infrastructure based on business agreements of five countries: Korea, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Mongolia, and Uzbekistan.
The conference will be held for three days from the 28th and 14 major countries will participate. The topic will discuss various agendas of representatives from each country with policies by country and cooperation between regions to establish integrated spatial information infrastructure in Eurasia.
The Korea Geographic Information Service explains that it will strengthen cooperation in the space information field in Eurasia by participating in the conference and create a venue for overseas expansion by conveying spatial information technology of top Korean companies.
At the space information company road show, the Korean delegation will present topics related to location-based urban facility management and open source-based big data analysis services.
Among companies, ASEAN Port, 4STEC, FORSWAVE, Advanced Spatial Information, Sambu Technology, GeoCNI, and Geo2 Information Technology will participate.
He also holds workshops with Kyrgyzstan and Uzbekistan.
An official from the Korea Geographic Information Service said, "We will actively try to create jobs overseas to serve as a stepping stone for Korea's entry into the Eurasian market."
