The Korea Software Industry Association (Chairman Cho Hyun-jung) announced on the 2nd that it held a "Korea-Austria SW Enterprise Networking Lunch Event" with the Austrian Embassy in Korea.
Austria is a strategic hub that has the potential for industrial development and uses it as a bridgehead for entering the European market, the association explained.
Austrian SW companies participated in the event in various fields such as database management system (DBMS), security, energy, smart factory solutions, and consulting.
South Korean SW companies participated in POSIS (Web Reporting Tool), FX Gear (3D Virtual Fitting Solution, VR409), NKIA (IT Infrastructure Performance Monitoring), Inigma (M2M159, IoT80), FOSTECH (RFID Middleware), NKsoft (SW Engineering), and Raon Secure.
Matthias Gravner, managing director of the Austrian Embassy in Korea, who co-hosted the event, said, "I hope the event will serve as an opportunity for cooperation between South Korea and Austria in the SW field."
"We look forward to expanding the opportunity for practical cooperation meetings between SW companies so that the results of the two countries' joint SW technical cooperation and overseas market penetration will come out soon," said an official of the SW Industry Association.
