Incheon Port Corporation announced on the 8th that it has selected three companies, including Nokwon Information Technology Co., Ltd., POSTECH Co., Ltd., and Infro Co., Ltd., as the targets for the "Do Dream Project," which supports start-up venture companies in the port sector.
The "Dodream Project" is a cooperative small and medium-sized business support project that the corporation jointly funds with the Korea Foundation for Small and Medium Business Cooperation and promotes with the Incheon National University Startup Support Group.
This year, it is planning to double its support budget, create new jobs and strengthen capabilities of small and medium-sized companies by providing subsidies and consulting.
The corporation selected a total of three start-up venture companies that submitted applications after the first document evaluation of start-up items, sales, export amounts, holding technology status and employment personnel, second face-to-face presentation evaluation, corporate internal capabilities, and market growth potential.
The selected partners are Nokwon Information Technology Co., Ltd., which develops 3D port operation control software, POSTECH Co., Ltd., which develops IoT-based smart forklift management system, and Infro, which develops ultra-power saving scale-based smart logistics platform. They receive support within 20 million won per company and consulting experts for about a year.
"We will provide full support to expand global competitiveness of small and medium-sized enterprises in the future," a construction official said.
