The Korea SW Industry Association (Chairman Cho Hyun-jung) held a "Korea-Austria SW Enterprise Networking Lunch Event" with the Austrian Embassy in Korea on the 2nd.

For this event, various Austria’s SW companies particpated such as DBMS, security, energy, smart factory solution, consulting etc., various aspects and through networking with Korean SW companies, they sought mutual technical cooperation and discovery of joint overseas expansion and partners.
South Korean SW companies participated in POSIS (Reporting), NKIA (IT Infrastructure Performance Monitoring), FX Gear (3D Virtual Fitting Solution, VR), Inigma (M2M, IoT), Foestech (RFID Middleware), Enkisoft (SW Engineering), Raon Secure (Security) and had opportunities with Austrian companies through corporate introduction and matching events.

Austria is regarded as a strategic hub where domestic SW companies can use it as a bridgehead to enter the European market due to its potential for development as the IT industry has emerged as a major growth engine for the country.

Matthias Gravner, managing director of the Austrian Embassy in Korea, who co-hosted the event, said, "We hope that this event will be an opportunity for cooperation between South Korea and Austria in the SW sector."
