30 panelists to derive improvements from workshop
Cooperation for research support of local SW convergence companies
Incheon Economic and Industrial Information Park SW Convergence Cluster Songdo Center's attempt to solve various regional problems in Incheon with civic participation and software (SW) convergence technology is drawing attention.
In April this year, the Songdo Center decided to find problems and solutions in four areas, including environment, transportation, start-up, and industry, which are major issues in Incheon.
It is part of the "SW Convergence Service Innovation Platform Operation Project" promoted by Songdo Center, which aims to help citizens present problems and improve measures on local issues and help local companies prepare solutions to the problem with SW convergence technology to improve the quality of citizens' lives.
Songdo Center formed a 30-member citizen panel and drew problems and improvement ideas for the field through a two-month workshop.

4STEC Co., Ltd. is developing a platform for managing single elderly people using IoT infrastructure and cloud services.
Songdo Center is currently supporting research by finding local SW convergence companies that can model the ideas of citizens.
The Songdo Center explained that the contents that four companies including Sigma Delta Technology are researching and developing will be applied and operated on a trial basis from December.
Songdo Center plans to improve and expand services through continuous feedback on these services.
"We are establishing a virtuous cycle process that allows citizens to present problems and improvements in the region and solve the problem with SW convergence technology," said an official at the Songdo Center. "We plan to continue to expand projects that can create economic value for companies."
